Going into the Super 1, nobody really had anything to base how the weekend would go, as Phil had only done a couple of super libre races and a few test days.

MBKC’s TKM Platinum cup was held at round 4 of the Three Sisters championship, and Phil was looking on good form for a good result, so hopes were high for the weekend.
Three Sisters - Round 6
Phil had missed the previous round of the MBKC championship because of the clash with MSA Super 1, so it was vital that good results were obtained from this round.
Super 1 Round 3 – Larkhall
Turning up on Friday morning, a lot of things were new, Phil had never been to the track before, he was going to be racing in Simon Wright’s awning and he had never used the Wright kart, so it was going to be a hard weekend!
